PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: May 21, 2026
1. Data controller
Baldurion is a personal project operated by Rodolfo A. Calvo Jaubert, residing in Katowice, Poland.
- Contact: contact.smartgymapp@gmail.com
- Site purpose: publishing content on training, nutrition and exercise science, and offering personal coaching services.
2. What data we collect
Baldurion does not actively collect personal data. We use no analytics, no tracking cookies, and we share no data with third parties.
The only data stored in your browser (via localStorage) are:
- Your visual theme preference (light or dark)
- Your preferred language
- The list of third-party embeds you have manually activated (so we don't ask again)
- Whether you have dismissed the privacy information banner
This data never leaves your browser. We have no tracking server; it never reaches us and we cannot access it.
3. When you contact us
If you write to us via email (contact form or coaching enquiry), we will receive your name, email address and message content. We use these solely to respond to your enquiry — we do not add them to any marketing list or share them. We retain them for a maximum of 24 months after the last interaction.
Legal basis: user consent upon submitting the form (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
4. Third-party embeds
Some articles may contain embeds from YouTube, Spotify, Twitter/X or Instagram. These services are operated by external companies with their own privacy and cookie policies.
By default, these embeds do NOT load automatically. You will see a placeholder and they will only activate if you click. By clicking, you accept that the relevant provider collects data under its own policy.
We recommend reading the policies of Google/YouTube, Spotify, Twitter/X and Meta/Instagram.
5. Your rights
As a user of this site you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability and restriction of the processing of your data. To exercise any of these rights, write to contact.smartgymapp@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Supervisory authority
If you consider that your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with:
- In Poland: Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO) — uodo.gov.pl
- In the EU: consult the list at edpb.europa.eu
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be announced on the site home. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
